虽然Starhub的增值服务不多，只给免费使用数码声讯服务（Digital Voice），但是若你常常打本地电话(包括本地手机通话），那么此免费Digital Voice可以替你省下电话费，而且还不需付每三个月$25的家庭电话线租金（Line Rental）．再者全岛的组屋已经是cable-ready, 每家都已经有了Starhub的cable point.
由于SingNet的宽频是靠ADSL技术，所以还是需要电话线来传broadband信号，这样每三月还要再付$25的Singtel Line Rental.
总的来说：
若使用Starhub配套，在两年内总共需花$1558.20, 平均每个月的上网费是$64.93。
而要是签订SingNet服务，在三年内就需付$2862, 平均每月的费用是$79.50。
两者的差别不算多，也不算少，SingNet会贵大概$15左右。
